BREAKING NEWS: Fresno Arts Council Doubles-down on Crappy Restaurant Arthop Theme.

by Zara Arboleda Jr.

Social media exploded with adoration on Thursday with the reveal of the 2017 Arthop logo. The logo, designed by one of the marketing geniuses at the Fresno Arts Council, is a play on the logo for IHOP, a restaurant known for making the shittiest pancakes imaginable.

"Once the public got a hold of this, we immediately saw that we had solid gold on our hands," the Fresno Arts Council said in a press release obtained by GBF. "As such, we've decided to carry on with this theme and for at least the next 3 years we'll be featuring 'crappy' restaurant themes."

In 2018, the logo will be a play on Chipotle.

Many Fresnans were immediately taken back by the decision to call Chipotle a "crappy restaurant", but the FAC assured us that, "it's only a play on the recent outbreak of foodborne illnesses that make Chipotle patrons 'crap' their souls out."

After that, the crappy restaurant of 2019 will be none other than McDonald's.

It looks to us like these are getting progressively lazier.

And finally, for 2020 they decided to keep it local.

"We heard Robertito's was voted the Worst Restaurant in Fresno on some lame blog so we just had to choose them!" The Fresno Arts Council explained. "That's all we've got for now, but who knows? Maybe we'll keep this going for the next 20 years!"

Needless to say, it should be a fun 4 years for Arthop.
