Downtown Buildings That Would Make Great Bars (Part 5): whatever this building is

by Perry Champlain, Resident Drunk

Editor's note: After writing about Theatre 3 back in May, Perry became distraught and left us. We're happy to announce that he has returned, and he's found his next building that would make a great bar.

Theatre 3, man. What a shame. I'm still hella bummed about that. But, you know, as the boarded up windows have been cleared out and you can see this place as it is, I realize it's way too big to be just a bar. You could easily turn that place into 3 bars!

But that's besides the point, really. What if I told you I found a building that was just like Theatre 3 but maybe a little uglier yet more appropriately sized? And what if I told you that building is sitting there, somewhat empty, with boarded up windows, just waiting to have someone fill it with booze and then puke all over it?

It's not a dream. I've found it.

It's name? I dunno. But cast your gaze upon this beauty.

Notice the similarities to Theatre 3.

It's still probably big enough for two businesses, but it's definitely smaller. Still got that Spanish tile roof. It's got that second story.

Like I said, slightly uglier but shit I'll be drunk enough not to care.

What's this building up to right now? It seems like it's being used as a storage facility by Sam's Party Rentals.

Hey Sam, haven't you always wanted to own a bar? Please?

This building is located on Broadway right next to that little motel that's right next to Iron Bird. That means there's a built in crowd that could roll out of bed and right into the bar and then right out of the bar and back into bed. It's also insulated enough that it won't be too much of a nuisance to the people who live right there. It's perfect! Perfect!

Now someone make it happen.
