Bitwise South Stadium? I Don't Think So, Pal.

I drew those red lines on there so you can see where the north most point and the south most point of the Bitwise building lie. That's right folks.
Bitwise South Stadium is exactly EAST of the Stadium.
Are you kidding me? What are you guys trying to hide?
Every once in a while you come across a big conspiracy and you can't sit on it. If you do, it drives you insane until the point where you find yourself up for three days having consumed nothing but coffee and Ritalin.
This morning, I uncovered a real doozy.
Now, Downtown is pretty confusing. People are always throwing around directions saying stuff like, "this is north of that" and what not, but no one knows what the hell they're talking about. However, over the years I've become somewhat familiar with DTF and have some sense of direction.
When I first heard about Bitwise "South" Stadium, I thought, "oh, that must be in Chinatown" because Chinatown is pretty much the only thing south of Grizzly Stadium. Then one day I saw where this Bitwise South Stadium was and I was pretty sure it wasn't South of the Stadium. I actually thought it was north of the stadium. That's how confusing downtown is.
This morning, I was fed up enough to have our research team Google it for me, and here's what they got back to me with.

ReplyDeleteIt could be referring to the fact that the stadium is South of other Fresno stadiums and the building is near that "south stadium"? But just to be sure I called my friend at the Illuminati and he assured me that it was a gigantic conspiracy. Apparently the stadium is built on top of an old graveyard which was itself built on top an old wood pulp manufacturer who used the pulp to make cheap caskets for the graveyard that would eventually be built on top of it. Weird right?
Anyway, apparently before the building was renovated they had tried to turn it into a poorly made pool but the cheap caskets kept floating to the top and freaking out the nuns. Wait, did I mention the convent that was originally buried on top of the pool? Yeah so, from the top of the circle garage you can see that the Building and the Stadium form a PERFECTLY STRAIGHT LINE which creates a meridian line that aliens will use to land their spaceships! Wake up SHEEPLE!!
This is why Fresno cannot have nice things...

I wanted to share with you just a few facts of based on minimal research that may have rectified your bewilderment over the directional labeling of our Bitwise South Stadium Headquarters.
The Bitwise South Stadium Building is located at 700 Van Ness Avenue, in beautiful downtown Fresno, California. Our neighbor, a few blocks to northwest, is the stunning Chukchansi Stadium, home of the Championship winning, Fresno Grizzlies. The physical address for the stadium is 1800 Tulare Street, Fresno, California.
The GPS Coordinates for Chukchansi Stadium are 36° 43' 56.1036'' N, 119° 47' 28.3632'' W.
The GPS Coordinates for Bitwise South Stadium are 36° 43' 55.434'' N, 119° 47' 8.7972'' W.
Therefore, despite the small difference in longitude and latitude coordinates, Bitwise is actually located to the southeast of Chukchansi Stadium.
I am hopeful that the addresses, along with GPS coordinates, will clear up any confusion that you may have had on the topic. I assure you there is NO CONSPIRACY! I understand that some people have trouble with directions, so please don't feel alone. It is a pretty common problem.
