The Great Fulton Street Groundbreaking

by The Editor

If, for some reason, you read this blog and didn't know that last Thursday was the Great Fulton Street Groundbreaking, then I would like to start off and let you know that it happened. Myself, Sam Joaquin, Zara Arboleda Jr., Sylvia Sneedly, and Perry Champlain all met up and headed down there to celebrate a momentous occasion in Fresno's history. What an amazing time.

It was a moment where Fresno made a splash on the national scene. Even Chris Christie was there to MC the thing.

Oh and the Fire Squad showed up to make sure everyone knew what team they cheered for.

Then 100 people went on stage and all of them gave a speech like it was the last day of summer camp.

Oh and this guy and I took pictures of each other.

Swearbear gave a beautiful speech in her best Democrat Blue.

Like I said, it was a big deal. They even had a lady to make funny faces.

If you missed it...sorry. I'm sure they'll have another one in 50 years or so. Until then, enjoy our pictures.
