BREAKING NEWS: ABC30 Chokes on New Hampshire Caucus

Yesterday, as America set its hopeful eyes on the New Hampshire primaries, ABC 30 Action News was there to bring Fresno the results as they happened. The polling places in the granite state were closing, and like any rock-solid journalistic enterprise, ABC 30 raced to be the first to bring you the scoop.
Yesterday, as America set its hopeful eyes on the New Hampshire primaries, ABC 30 Action News was there to bring Fresno the results as they happened. The polling places in the granite state were closing, and like any rock-solid journalistic enterprise, ABC 30 raced to be the first to bring you the scoop.
Unfortunately, in the rush to break the story, ABC 30 failed to correctly match the candidate’s faces to the candidate’s names. They seemed to think that Chris Christie was Jeb Bush and that Jeb Bush was Marco Rubio. In their defense (according to our inside sources), the ABC 30 research department thought that “the Marco Rubio” was a new sandwich on the menu at a nearby Togo’s.
In the spirit of comradery, we here at GBF asked our crack research team to offer some advice to the big 3-0. According to our experts, this confusion could have been avoided by taking a moment to do a brief google search or by having at least one person on staff who was vaguely aware of current events. That’s what we call Live, Local… Face Changing News!
But hey, at least ABC 30 Action News was the first to misinform you.
(editors note: Regarding the headline- GBF is fully aware that the vote in New Hampshire was technically a primary, not a caucus, but they both look pretty similar, so who cares, right?)
