Man With Connection to Fresno Becomes World Famous
by The Editor
FRESNO, CA- It has been discovered that a certain man who has become internationally renowned for his dramatic film performances, his sold out concerts where he plays the most difficult piano pieces ever written, and for his numerous inventions that have revolutionized the way people perform even the most mundane tasks, has a connection to Fresno.
This man, who was born and raised in Seattle, WA, took a trip to Disneyland with his family when he was a child and they may have driven down CA-99 which would have taken them directly through the city of Fresno. This story was first reported by Gaby Rodriguez of Channel 47.
"We have always considered him to be a son of our city," said Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin, "and now the rest of the world can see the greatness that Fresno produces."
Swearengin then detailed some of the ways the city plans to honor him. "We're going to scrap the name "Fulton St." and name that after him. Once the destruction of the Fulton Mall is complete, we're going to have a big ass parade for him. And to top it all off, we're going to give him a star right in the middle of the street."
The last item has angered a local blog who have been trying to get a star on Fulton St. for one of their contributors who recently passed away. They have---as of yet---been unsuccesful.
The City of Clovis also thinks they may have a connection to him, saying that "if he drove through Fresno then certainly he would have made a stop in Clovis for some of our famous cuisine."
But...come on, Clovis. Don't be so full of yourselves. That's not realistic.
Fresno's plans to honor him should be underway by the end of the month.
