What to do for the 4th of July

Well, tomorrow is the 4th of July (believe it or not) which means many of you will have the day off. If you're completely mental and leaving town for this American tradition, then you should stop reading here.

This 4th of July, maybe don't be a pretentious douche wipe who's only concerned with eating local. If you go to your Uncle's place for a bbq and he's grilling up some fine steak from Nebraska, don't freak out. It's not the end of the world. You're actually just contributing to the national economy. Oh, and if you decide not to eat it because it's not local, the food will still have been purchased and it will go to waste regardless. So play it smart and eat the food.

As for fireworks, why buy your own when you can see better ones for free? That's right, head downtown and watch the fireworks from the Grizzly game. You don't have to buy a ticket to look at the sky, which is a good deal.

So there you go, just a few suggestions. Keep on Fresnoing.
